A guest post from new environmental video network

By Tadzio Mac Gregor Schneider

The WaterBear Network (“WBN”)  is an interactive video on-demand platform dedicated to the planet. The WBN is built on three primary pillars: Watch, Join, and Save.

The network will be going live in 2020. Join our growing community to enjoy and engage with the ultimate worldwide environmental initiatives.

WBN members will be inspired by documentaries, series, short videos. They will join a fast-growing global community through our advanced interactive platform, and be able to take action to help save the planet by participating in and contributing to local and global initiatives.

Our mission is to connect, inform and empower individuals, companies and other organizations across the world to take actions that will have a positive impact on our planet.

The National Whistleblower Center and WaterBear agree on the urgent worldwide need for more inter-organizational collaboration. The value of whistleblowers has proven to be unique, but they need institutional support and global expertise to continue their engagement in line with their vision.

The National Whistleblower Center has continuously supported WBN. Last year, we officially committed ourselves to expand the relevance of the National Whistleblower Center’s work (‘NWC’) to a global audience.

Not only are we aiming to raise awareness on subjects sometimes hardly known to the general public, but we also aim to offer concrete ways to engage and support the NWC. As an individual, you’ll be able to learn more about the importance of environmental whistleblowers, donate to protect their actions, volunteer your skills, engage with your local community, among other exciting ‘calls to action’.
