Washington, D.C. December 22, 2015. The National Whistleblower Center, a Washington, D.C. based whistleblower advocacy group, released its 2015 Year in Review today.

The National Whistleblower Center’s 2015 Year in Review highlights the organizations top 10 accomplishments of 2015. The list of highlights includes the first Congressional celebration of National Whistleblower Day, SEC sanctions against defense contractor KBR and the expansion of protections for federal employees among other successes. 

The National Whistleblower Center is leading efforts to establish protections for wildlife whistleblowers, enact a permanent National Whistleblower Day, defend whistleblowers in the FBI who expose failures in our counterterrorism program and close the numerous loop holes in laws to ensure that all whistleblowers are protected from being blacklisted and/or harassed.

The National Whistleblower Center credits its supporters with enabling the group to have such a successful year.  The National Whistleblower Center’s plans for 2016 are also listed in the review. Read the full review here.
